Client - Whitehorse City Council
project overview
In 2015/16, Whitehorse City Council developed a strategic plan to guide the future direction of its Morack Public Golf Course. WellPlayed Golf Business Consultancy, in conjunction with Crafter + Mogford Golf Strategies, was engaged to assist.
The strategic plan established ways in which Morack could be developed into a contemporary golf facility in accordance with three strategic directions. Where relevant, improvement and development activities within each strategic direction were incorporated in a new Concept Plan.
Council then engaged WellPlayed to assist further planning for Morack by:
Assessing and updating the Concept Plan
Preparing detailed design briefs for the new Golf Pavilion + Precinct, Driving Range and Premium Mini-Golf
Reviewing the investment plan
Participating in the evaluation of tender applicants for the project’s architectural design
Being an ongoing part of Council’s project team that is guiding the detailed design and development
Participating in the evaluation of tender applicants for the facility operations

WellPlayed was engaged by Shellharbour City Council to assist planning for the next phase of major improvements at The Links Shell Cove.
WellPlayed was engaged to develop:
A new Concept Plan for the Golf Pavilion’s precinct, including a new Functional Relationship Plan for the lower-ground level; and
A detailed Design Brief to establish the design requirements for each major improvement.
